It has been reported that on January 12, an operation was carried out in Nookat aimed at organizing traffic on the central streets and reducing traffic jams.
The event involved the mayor Askarali Abdiabaev, the head of the district police department Jumanzar Orozbaev, as well as employees of road safety services and representatives of government institutions.
As a result of the raid, all route buses that previously passed through the city center were moved to the bus station. Instructions were also given to install metal barriers in places where pedestrians enter the road and to regulate spontaneous trade.
Additionally, work was conducted with citizens to explain the importance of crossing the road only at designated pedestrian crossings.
