After the cancellation of the service charge, the prices of dishes in the cafe increased by 20 percent

As a result of the cancellation of the service charge, some cafes in Kyrgyzstan have increased the prices of dishes by 20%. This was reported by the State Antimonopoly Agency.

It should be noted that this charge was mainly applied in the capital, Bishkek, and in Osh, with its size ranging from 5 to 15 percent.

The State Antimonopoly Agency also reminded that any questions regarding violations of consumer rights can be directed to their office.

It is worth reminding that starting from January 1, it is prohibited in Kyrgyzstan's catering establishments to charge separately for service, dish presentation, table setting, and other services provided by staff, which should be included in the total cost of the order.
