The city administration of Osh has announced the decision to relocate the bird market, which is currently located at the old central market, to a new area.

The new bird market will be situated nearby the current location — on the site previously occupied by the livestock market. Authorities assure that all necessary conditions will be provided at the new site for both sellers and buyers, with full compliance with sanitary standards.

Previously, information appeared on social media that at the bird market in Osh, poultry was being slaughtered and processed right on the site, which was littered with garbage.
