In Bishkek, at the intersection of Kurmanjan Datka and Frunze streets, new traffic lights equipped with laser illumination for pedestrian crossings have been installed. This innovation is aimed at improving pedestrian safety, especially in adverse weather conditions such as rain or fog.

Abylbek uulu Bakai, the director of the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure," noted that during such times, the number of pedestrian accidents increases. The installation of these new type of traffic lights is intended to reduce risks and make movement more comfortable for pedestrians.
