The official event dedicated to the launching of the boats took place on January 7 in the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul, in the territory of the Tyup district.
Major General of Police Murat Boronov, head of the regional internal affairs department, emphasized the importance of responsible use of the new equipment, which will serve to protect the environment and promote tourism. Modern quadcopters were also handed over to each district unit.
The new boats, measuring 6.5 meters in length, are made of durable aluminum and are specifically designed for operation on internal waterways. They are equipped with modern radars, solar cameras, and sonar, significantly expanding their capabilities.
The quadcopters, which were also provided, are intended for use in harsh environmental conditions. They are equipped with sensors and thermal imaging cameras, allowing them to be used for searching for people, detecting poachers, monitoring infrastructure, as well as conducting search and rescue operations and controlling forest fires.
The regional Internal Affairs Department reminded that the new equipment was provided as part of the implementation of President Sadyr Japarov's Decree No. 131 "On Urgent Measures for the Protection of the Ecology of Issyk-Kul".
The police are confident that the new boats and quadcopters will significantly improve the ecological situation in the resort area of the lake, preserve the values of the lake complex, and strengthen the fight against illegal fishing.
