A bridge on J. Shamsheev Street has been opened in Osh. Previously, houses were demolished there.
The bridge is 21 meters long and 9 meters wide. Sidewalks are located on both sides of the structure, green zones are provided, and water pipes and irrigation ditches have been installed. Prior to this, a complete reconstruction of J. Shamsiyev Street was carried out, which was widened to 22 meters and transformed into a four-lane road.
According to the press service of the city administration, this bridge provides access to the Osh Regional Hospital and the entrance part of the city, making traffic on this road quite intense. No repairs had been conducted here previously. During an inspection, the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, ordered the road to be widened and asphalted. For this purpose, several buildings that created obstacles were demolished. As a result, a modern and convenient road has been created for the residents of the city.
It should be noted that in the spring, 14 houses were demolished on J. Shamsiyev Street without prior notice. The issue was partially resolved later, but some structures were still destroyed.
