In Osh, the updated bridge on Shamsiyev Street has been put into operation

The bridge on J. Shamsiyev Street in the city of Osh was ceremoniously opened today by Mayor Zhenishbek Toktorbaev after the completion of major repairs.
The event, organized by the city administration, was attended by local officials as well as residents of the city.

The bridge, which is 9 meters long and 21 meters wide, has been renovated with the installation of sidewalks for pedestrians. Green zones, water pipes, and irrigation systems have also been provided. Additionally, a complete reconstruction of J. Shamsiyev Street, which stretches for 600 meters, was previously carried out. The road has now become four-lane and widened to 22 meters.

It is important to note that the bridge provides access to the Osh Regional Hospital and the entrance to the city, making it part of a busy traffic flow. No repair work had been conducted on this section before. "During the inspection, Mayor Toktorbaev ordered the road to be widened and paved. Several buildings that obstructed traffic were demolished during the work, resulting in a comfortable and modern road for the residents," the city administration reported.

All expenses for the repairs on J. Shamsiyev Street were fully covered by the local budget.
