A New Leader at the Jalal-Abad Regional Philharmonic — What Is Known About Him
The position of director has been appointed to 48-year-old Nasirdin Tegin Asylbek Tölön uulu, who will begin his work with a three-month probation period. The presentation of the new leader took place on December 29, 2025, under the guidance of the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov.
Nasirdin Tegin Asylbek Tölön uulu was born on October 1, 1978, in Bishkek.
Education
- 1995 — Central Children's Music School named after P. Shubin, specialization — komuz;
- 1998 — Music College named after M. Kerenkeeva;
- 2005 — Kyrgyz National Conservatory named after K. Moldobasanov;
- 2008–2010 — assistant intern at the Kyrgyz National Conservatory;
- 2022–2023 — training in the specialty of opera-symphonic conducting (currently on academic leave).
Professional Experience
- 2005–2013 — leader of the folklore ensemble "Saamal" at the Bishkek City Drama Theater;
- 2014 — work at the National Drama Theater named after T. Abdumomunov;
- 2013–2016 — artist in the folklore group "El ырычысы Эстебес";
- 2014–2022 — senior lecturer in the Department of National Instruments at the Kyrgyz National Conservatory.
His original musical works are registered in the Kyrgyzpatent registry, including "Uluu köch," "Chabarman," "Tokoy aralap," "Jomok," "Asanbaydyn elesi," "Biy," "Kerben," "Kyrgyz jol," "Balbal tün," "Jalbyraktar sargayganda," "Sagyndym seni," "Zhenish," "Mekenim menin Kyrgyzstan," "Süyüu jazı," "Jorgolor," "Jarysh," "Bul dүnө," "Küü mayram," and others.
The former director of the Jalal-Abad Philharmonic, Mukhtar Kyrbashov, passed away in November of last year after a long illness.
