According to information announced on the air of Birinchi Radio, the network of state pharmacies "El Aman" has sold medicines worth 1 billion 671 million 459 thousand soms since its opening. The head of the network, Rysbek Akynbekov, noted that from this amount, 185 million 947 thousand soms were paid in taxes to the state budget.
As of today, there are 72 "El Aman" pharmacies operating in Kyrgyzstan. Of these, 16 are located in Bishkek, 9 in the Chui region, 5 in Issyk-Kul, 6 in Talas, 3 in Naryn, 5 in Batken, 15 in Jalal-Abad, 13 in the Osh region, and 3 directly in the city of Osh. This year, the opening of new branches is planned. The network collaborates with 45 pharmaceutical distributors, and the prices of medications in these pharmacies are 10-15% lower compared to private counterparts,” added Akynbekov.
The "El Aman" pharmacy network was established two years ago with the aim of ensuring the accessibility of medicines for the population.
