The head of the department, Alymbek Turdugul uulu, noted that this device significantly accelerates the recovery process for patients after surgeries.
“Our department desperately needed this modern device. With the help of the EOC, the doctor can see the bone and the position of the implant directly during the operation, which allows for controlling the correctness of the fracture repositioning. It also enables timely detection and correction of errors, obtaining images from any angle without causing unnecessary discomfort to the patient, and performing modern minimally invasive interventions,” he added.
According to Turdugul uulu, the equipment was purchased with funding from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. Currently, similar devices are absent in other district state hospitals in the country, and patients had to be referred to the National Hospital.
