During the republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo," Edil Baisalov, Deputy Prime Minister, presented information about significant transformations in healthcare over the past four years.
According to him, the consolidated healthcare budget increased from 26.3 billion soms in 2021 to 51.9 billion soms in 2025, which is a twofold growth.
Funding for the purchase of expensive medications and medical devices has increased 14 times.
Baisalov emphasized that significant attention is being paid to the development of infrastructure and support for medical personnel. In 2025, about 1 billion soms will be allocated for additional payments to doctors working in remote areas.
Additionally, last year the construction of 10 medical facilities was completed. A total of 21 facilities were built during the period from 2021 to 2025, and work is currently ongoing on another 32 large medical complexes.
There has also been significant progress in the field of high technologies in medicine: in 2024, 24 organ transplant surgeries were performed in the country, and in 2025, their number increased to 26, including complex kidney, liver, and bone marrow transplants.
It should be noted that the republican meeting at "Yntymak Ordo" summarized the results of 2025 with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
The event was also attended by members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of state institutions, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
