Currently, the parliament is discussing the candidacy of Damirbek Osmonov for the position of Minister of Health.
Kubanychbekov noted that the project, initiated by Turkish partners, has stalled at the third stage. "If the project had been successfully implemented, it would have helped eliminate corruption schemes and ensure the delivery of medications directly to their intended destinations," he emphasized.
- The implementation of the medication tracking system began in 2018, and the first phase was launched in March 2023. According to the latest data, 1955 pharmacies and 227 medical institutions were operating within the system.
- In December, the Ministry of Health announced that it plans to complete the implementation of the drug traceability system in Kyrgyzstan by the end of January 2026.
