The Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision to amend the resolution "On the Establishment of the Emergency Medical Service (Medical Service) under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic," issued on August 19, 2024, under number 481. The resolution No. 51, signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet, Adylbek Kasymaliev, on January 31, 2026, outlines new opportunities for this service.

These changes are aimed at more effective use of military medical equipment owned by the Emergency Medical Service and are in accordance with Articles 13 and 17 of the constitutional law "On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic."

According to the new provisions, the Emergency Medical Service now has the right to provide medical assistance to the civilian population in peacetime. This includes the use of medical vehicles, mobile hospitals, and the engagement of medical personnel as needed and with prior coordination with the authorized body in the field of civil protection to carry out a set of activities for medical support.

The implementation of this resolution will be carried out within the established staffing levels and financial resources provided in the budget for the relevant year for state bodies.

The resolution became effective from the moment of its official publication.
