At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Medina Kairylbekova proposed the need to relocate the tuberculosis hospital located in Talas, near a school.
She emphasized that this medical facility is situated in the city center and does not have a connection to the sewage system.
“The hospital has its own septic tank. A school is located 50 meters from it, and a new educational institution is also planned to be built. Wastewater from the hospital is transported by truck and dumped into a bio-pond. The residential area 'Zhashtyk', located 500 meters from the treatment facilities, is home to about 500 families who use water from an underground source at a depth of 6 meters,” the deputy noted.
