Over 973,000 men in Kyrgyzstan underwent screening. What diseases were detected?
The screening results showed that 119.6 thousand men (12%) were found to have elevated blood pressure. A high risk of cardiovascular diseases was recorded in 49.6 thousand individuals (5%), while approximately 60.8 thousand men (6%) were at high risk of developing diabetes.
Throughout the year, 15,388 patients were newly registered with a diagnosis of hypertension and 7,364 individuals were diagnosed with diabetes.
It is also worth noting that in 2025, cardiovascular diseases were the cause of 16,644 deaths among the adult population of Kyrgyzstan.
