According to the information from the First Deputy Minister of Health Aibek Matkerimov, the establishment of state laboratories will soon begin in major cities. This statement was made during a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, where the Ministry of Health's strategy for forming a unified laboratory system was discussed.

Matkerimov emphasized that the main goal of creating state laboratories is to develop competition in the market, where private institutions often set inflated prices for their services.

Initially, new laboratories will be opened in major cities, with subsequent expansion to the regions. "State medical institutions have expensive equipment for laboratory analyses that is not always used effectively. Local residents often have to turn to private laboratories. We plan to centralize the system and organize state laboratories, starting with one main center," he noted.

In addition, Matkerimov reported that the prices for services in state laboratories will be significantly lower than in private ones and will take into account mandatory health insurance policies, making them more accessible to the population.
