Every day, hundreds of officials are invited to the Jogorku Kenesh to discuss various issues, which often leads to a waste of time. However, now, as announced by the parliament speaker Marlen Mamataliyev, they will be able to participate in meetings remotely by connecting through the new e-kenesh application, presented in the committee on budget, economic, and fiscal policy.

According to Mamataliyev, the situation with numerous invitations looks as follows: for 18 questions, more than 100 people may be summoned, waiting in the corridors even if their presence is not required. This results in them possibly not receiving a single question and having to leave the meeting, abandoning their primary responsibilities, which affect the lives of many people.

Now, only the main speakers will be allowed to attend the meetings, while other participants can connect as needed. The speaker emphasized that video communication will allow even officials from remote regions, such as Batken, or employees on business trips abroad to participate.

Additionally, deputies who are on business trips will also be able to attend meetings online if they express such a desire.
