The Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed national security issues with the authorities of Hungary

A meeting took place in Budapest between the Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, Adilet Orozbekov, and Marcel Biro, who is the chief advisor on national security to the Prime Minister of Hungary. This was reported by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, important aspects regarding the formation of a new world order were discussed, as well as current threats in the areas of terrorism, extremism, cybersecurity, illegal migration, and organized crime.


As noted by Adilet Orozbekov, modern security challenges, including ongoing conflicts, require closer integration and consolidation of efforts among states to maintain stability in the region and ensure peace, which should be in accordance with the UN Charter and international legal norms. The event was also attended by high-ranking representatives of foreign policy and security from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan,” the statement adds.
