Sadyr Japarov and the OSCE Secretary General Discussed Projects, Reforms, and Regional Security
During the meeting, the possibilities for strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the OSCE were discussed, as well as the expansion of the organization's project activities in the republic.

Japarov noted that in recent years, cooperation with the OSCE has significantly intensified, as evidenced by frequent mutual visits. He emphasized that the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek is successfully implementing 22 projects, among which the OSCE Academy stands out.
The president expressed gratitude to the organization for its assistance in reforming the justice system and law enforcement agencies, as well as in the area of digitalization of public administration and the promotion of human rights and democracy.
Furthermore, Japarov highlighted that strengthening ties with Central Asia is one of the main priorities of Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy. He also mentioned that the Secretary General's visit coincided with the anniversary of the signing of border agreements with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Feridun Sinirlioğlu, for his part, thanked for the warm welcome and noted the progress of Kyrgyzstan in social and economic spheres, as well as in democratic processes, including women's participation in politics.
The Secretary General also highly appreciated the country's foreign policy aimed at developing good-neighborly relations and adhering to international law, emphasizing Kyrgyzstan's contribution to ensuring security in the region.
Discussing international issues, Japarov expressed concern about the current geopolitical situation, including conflicts in the Middle East.
As a result of the negotiations, both sides confirmed the importance of peaceful resolution of all emerging conflicts.
