Yesterday, a solemn ceremony was held at the building of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) to open the new administrative complex of the GU "Center for Information Security." This was reported by the press service of the agency.
The event was attended by the chairman of the GKNB, Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov.
According to the committee, the establishment of this Center is an important step in response to modern global threats and the necessity of strengthening the country's cybersecurity system. This institution will serve as the foundation for ensuring digital sovereignty and sustainable development of the digital economy.
The main functions of the Center include:
- Development of unique software and hardware solutions for the public sector;
- Certification and support of existing software and hardware solutions;
- Monitoring and rapid response;
- Creation of modern technologies for data protection, both public and private;
- Coordination of actions among various agencies and training of highly qualified IT specialists in the field of security.
The GKNB emphasized that the design of the new building took into account the specifics of the work of a high-tech unit. The complex is fully equipped with modern server and analytical systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations for specialists. The created conditions contribute to both effective counteraction to cyberattacks and the maintenance of stability of critically important digital services in the country.
