The opening ceremony was led by the chairman of the SCNS, Lieutenant General Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov.
The establishment of this center is aimed at responding to modern challenges in the field of cybersecurity and is focused on protecting the country's digital infrastructure, which is an important step towards strengthening the national security system in the digital sphere.
The SCNS noted that this center will become a key element in ensuring Kyrgyzstan's digital sovereignty and supporting the sustainable development of the digital economy.
The main tasks of the new institution include:
- developing and implementing software and hardware solutions for the public sector;
- monitoring cyber threats and responding to them promptly;
- creating technologies for protecting both state and private data;
- coordinating the work of various agencies and training qualified IT specialists.
The center's building is equipped with modern server and analytical systems, which will enable effective resistance to cyberattacks and ensure the stable operation of critically important digital services.
The event was also attended by veterans of the SCNS and representatives of relevant government organizations.
The agency emphasized that the opening of the center is a confirmation of the state's priority in creating a safe digital environment for citizens, businesses, and government institutions.
