KNU named after Jusup Balasagyn participated in the celebration of Nowruz in Naryn
On the day of the spring equinox, March 21, the sacred land of Tenir-Tuu enthusiastically celebrated the holiday of Nowruz. This day, symbolizing the renewal of nature, when "the earth gives fruit, and livestock gives milk," filled people's souls with hope and faith in a better future. This year, Naryn became the center of the celebration, uniting the people in unity, creative work, and sincere love for their homeland.

The visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, inspired the residents of Naryn. The festive events began with a theatrical performance embodying the unity of day and night. The ritual "alas," performed by Umai Ene, as well as the blessing of Bakai Ata, set a deep spiritual atmosphere for the celebration.

In his speech addressed to the people, the President emphasized the strategic importance of the Naryn region, located on the Great Silk Road. Sadyr Japarov noted that Naryn is a sacred land where outstanding personalities were born: heroes, sages, scientists, and statesmen who laid the foundations of the country's independence.

The festive events became particularly significant thanks to the visit of a delegation from the Kyrgyz National University (KNU) named after Jusup Balasagyn, led by the rector, Professor Dogdurbek Chontoев. Representatives of one of the leading universities in the country witnessed the high spirit and unity of the residents of the region. It is also important to note that students from Naryn State University (NSU), which was incorporated into the structure of KNU by the President's decree, actively participated in organizing the cultural program.

As part of his working trip, the rector of KNU held a meeting with the staff of Naryn State University. The leadership of NSU congratulated their colleagues on the holiday and presented honorary certificates and letters of appreciation to distinguished employees and students. In addition, modern equipment necessary for the educational process was handed over to the university.

During the visit, the parties discussed achievements in the field of science and innovation and outlined plans for the future. Special attention was given to the prospects of the new EPU center "Integrated Management of Land Resources," which will become an important platform for implementing future environmental and educational projects in the region.
