In the last five years, there has been significant progress in the industry: the volume of produced goods has increased by 5.7 times. In 2021, 30 new enterprises were opened, and in 2022, their number rose to 134, creating hundreds of new jobs.
Currently, construction projects related to roads, irrigation, and water supply are being implemented in the Naryn region, with a total cost of 21 billion soms, and 143 facilities are currently under construction.
Over the past five years, 51 social facilities have been put into operation, including schools, kindergartens, and medical institutions.
During this period, 259 kilometers of roads have been asphalted in the region, of which 135 kilometers are planned for 2025. In particular, the road surface on the main street of the city of Naryn has been completely renewed. Additionally, last year, the Naryn airport resumed operations, now offering flights to the capital twice a week.
Since 2022, contributions of 0.6% of the gross income from "Kumtor" have started to flow into the "Tenir-Too" development fund. To date, the fund has accumulated about 2 billion soms, which are directed towards social and infrastructure projects in the region, including the construction of affordable housing. Most of these projects are financed from the republican budget.
The president also announced the allocation of 2 billion 382 million soms from his stabilization fund for the construction of a unique cultural center in Naryn, which has no analogs in Kyrgyzstan.
Overall, over the past five years, 6 billion 800 million soms of foreign investments have been attracted to the Naryn region.
