Nurdan Oruntaev, the minister of this department, stated that the project was included in the list of facilities with inflated estimated costs. He noted that instances of price inflation were found during the procurement of equipment, and a compliance check of the work with the project documentation is currently underway.
The reconstruction of the park, which covers an area of approximately 2 hectares, is expected to be completed by March-April 2026. About 90 million soms have been allocated from the republican budget for landscaping and restoration work, including the creation of squares.
It is worth noting that this park, established during the Soviet period, has long been in a neglected state. As part of the current project, work has already begun on clearing the territory, dismantling old structures, and constructing new ones.
