The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) is actively countering fake accounts that spread false information about the actions of government bodies and high-ranking officials. This was reported by Nurbek Abdiyev, Deputy Minister, during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh. The discussion focused on the implementation of the resolution dated June 25, 2025, No. 3297-VII, regarding measures to combat fraud in the banking sector and online space.

During the meeting, Deputy Zhyldyz Egemberdieva asked whether the cybersecurity department is dealing with fake accounts and what responsibility is provided for this. She emphasized that such accounts harm people's reputations and contribute to destabilization in the country.

Nurbek Abdiyev clarified that there are specialized units monitoring such accounts. He cited the recent arrest of a woman who created two accounts and spread false information about Kyrgyzstan. An investigation is currently underway regarding this case.

Egemberdieva also asked whether citizens can report false accounts that demean people's dignity or spread lies.

The Deputy Minister responded that all appeals are considered, and appropriate measures are taken in case false information or defamation is identified.

It is also worth noting that a journalist, Altynai Arstanbekova, was detained in Bishkek, who is suspected of publishing materials calling for mass riots. The MIA press service confirmed this information.

According to the agency, on March 9, during monitoring of social networks, an account named "Daniel Zhooshbaev" was identified on Facebook, which was used to publish materials aimed at discrediting the authorities of Kyrgyzstan and creating tension in the socio-political situation. Some comments under certain posts contained messages that could lead to destabilization and mass riots.
