The goal of the new institution will be to oversee the implementation of the road construction project, as well as to ensure coordination between government agencies, local authorities, and contractors.
According to the adopted document, the staff of the state directorate will consist of 13 employees. The Ministry of Transport has been tasked with registering this institution with the justice department and providing it with the necessary resources for operation.
Funding for the directorate will come from the funds allocated for the implementation of the road construction, with a maximum limit of 2.9% of the total investment in the project's fixed capital.
Additionally, the resolution made changes to a number of government decisions regarding the structure of the Ministry of Transport and expenditure norms for the construction of facilities.
The document will come into force 10 days after its adoption.
