At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on agricultural policy, ecology, water resources, and subsoil use, Deputy Mahabat Mavlyanova raised the issue of the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on Central Asia.

According to her, as a result of Israel's attacks on Iranian oil refineries, numerous toxic chemicals have entered the atmosphere. "There are concerns that these substances could lead to acid rain here in Kyrgyzstan. Who is monitoring this process and in which regions is acid precipitation possible?" Mavlyanova asked.

In response to this statement, Asel Raimkulova, who holds the position of Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, confirmed that the Hydrometeorological Service is actively monitoring the situation through its meteorological stations.
