Today, at a meeting of the committee on labor, health, women's affairs, and social issues of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Zhyldyz Egemberdieva proposed the initiative to close establishments called "Antikino." This statement was made during the discussion of a draft law concerning amendments to several legislative acts, including the Civil Procedure Code and the Law on Advertising.

The parliamentarian noted that in these establishments, under the pretext of watching movies, crimes often occur, including drug use among youth.

Egemberdieva urged the Ministry of Internal Affairs to take necessary measures to close "Antikino." Deputy Minister Nurbek Abdieva confirmed that there have been cases of crimes in these establishments in the past. He also mentioned holding owners accountable for drug use, but did not provide statistics on these cases.
