In response, the company's president, Almanbek Ismailov, mentioned that during the period of operation, 2 billion 600 million soms had been allocated. He noted that despite the initiation of a criminal case on January 24, 2025, the joint-stock company continues its activities.
"When 'Kyrgyzindustry' was created, the cabinet of ministers planned to merge 16 state enterprises, but unfortunately, a different decision was made. As a result, 63 limited liability companies emerged, of which 20-30 have already been closed," he added. These words caused discontent among Kamila Talieva. "You claim that the previous leadership acted incorrectly. How would you react if you were spoken to in the same way after your departure? I knew Jarasul Abdurayimov, who dedicated his life to production. He was never corrupt. I believe that his detention occurred based on unreliable information. Yes, indeed, 2 billion soms were allocated, but he used these funds to restore 'Kyrgyzindustry'. This must be taken into account when discussing his contribution. His death occurred after he was subjected to unfounded accusations. We must be careful in our statements so as not to kill people with information," the deputy emphasized.
It is worth noting that in January of last year, the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) announced the start of a criminal investigation into a corruption case related to the leadership of the joint-stock company "Kyrgyzindustry". According to the GKNB, the joint-stock company was established in 2021, and from 2022 to 2024, over 2.3 billion soms were allocated from the budget. However, as stated by the GKNB, some officials created a stable corruption scheme, using subsidiary companies to embezzle budget funds.
The investigation revealed that more than 40 unprofitable enterprises were created and financed, leading to irretrievable losses. The structure of the joint-stock company had many managerial positions: out of 75 employees, 33 held managerial positions, and many of them were appointed by relatives and friends with high salaries. Some of them worked simultaneously at both the joint-stock company "Kyrgyzindustry" and its subsidiaries.
As part of this case, former president of the joint-stock company "Kyrgyzindustry" Jarasul Abdurayimov and vice president B. B. were detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Unfortunately, on October 7, 2025, news of Abdurayimov's death became known.
