In his address, published through social networks, the diplomat emphasized that the embassy maintains constant contact with students, pilgrims, and Kyrgyz citizens who are temporarily residing in Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, he added that operational headquarters groups have been created with the participation of the Muftiate, the National Agency for Religious Affairs, and the Kyrgyz community, which coordinate actions to assist pilgrims and ensure their safety.
Maripov also reported on the following aspects:
- Airports in Saudi Arabia continue to operate in a stable mode;
- Domestic air transportation is proceeding without disruptions;
- Some international airlines have reduced the number of flights; however, departures of Saudi airlines are operating as scheduled;
- There is constant communication with citizens located in neighboring Bahrain — 35 people have made contact.
“We are monitoring the situation in real time. If there are changes that may pose risks, we will promptly inform our citizens and take the necessary measures. May the Almighty grant peace, and may there be no war anywhere,” the ambassador concluded.
