The US plans to eliminate Iran's naval forces and missile capabilities
US President Donald Trump announced the start of a full-scale military campaign against Iran. He noted that the goal of the operation is to destroy Iran's naval forces, eliminate its missile potential, and completely dismantle its missile industry.
According to Iranian media, as a result of attacks by the US and Israel, key facilities have already been damaged, including the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Defense, the presidential palace, the residence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization in Tehran.
The attacks also affected defense enterprises in Isfahan and Karaj involved in the nuclear program. Explosions and fires have been reported in some areas.
The authorities in Tehran announced preparations for retaliatory actions. One Iranian official told Reuters that the response would be severe. An Israeli source, commenting on the situation to Channel 12, stated that intense joint attacks would last for at least four days, after which Tehran would "change" by the next day.
After the bombings began, Trump called on Iranians to overthrow the current government, claiming that this is their only chance for the future.
The situation remains critical, and international observers are anxiously awaiting further developments, with a likely escalation of the conflict in the region.
