Aibek Zhakenovich Iminov is now the Deputy Chairman of the National Agency responsible for religious affairs and interethnic relations in the Kyrgyz Republic. This was announced in a statement from the president's press service.
This appointment was approved by the decree of President Sadyr Japarov.
Previously, Iminov worked in the State Commission for Religious Affairs, where he headed the department for expertise and interaction with religious organizations. This commission was transformed into the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations.
