In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the first meeting is taking place with representatives from the defense ministries of ten SCO countries, including Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as staff from the SCO Secretariat. This information was provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting is chaired by Rustam Ormokoey, head of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, participants are discussing the implementation of activities outlined in the Cooperation Plan of the defense ministries of the SCO member states for 2026. The main focus is on organizing and conducting the upcoming meeting of the defense ministers of these countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a protocol will be signed to formalize the agreements reached.
