Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom are enhancing experience exchange in legislation
Recently in London, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, participated in a joint meeting with the heads of foreign policy agencies of Central Asia and the Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, Sir Lindsay Harvey Hoyle. The event took place in the Palace of Westminster and gathered members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Central Asia.
During the discussions, the participants exchanged views on the possibility of deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation. Minister Kulubaev also shared with his British colleagues the results of the recent elections to the Jogorku Kenesh.

He noted that the electoral process was conducted in accordance with national legislation and international standards, which confirmed the principles of democracy, competitiveness, and transparency.
Kulubaev emphasized the important role of parliament in the political and economic life of the country. According to him, the Jogorku Kenesh actively supports state reforms, contributes to economic development, and improves the quality of governance.
The Minister also expressed interest in strengthening Kyrgyz-British ties, highlighting priority areas for cooperation.
In Kulubaev's opinion, direct contacts between legislative bodies will serve as an effective complement to intergovernmental relations and help strengthen bilateral political dialogue.
