
The President highlighted the successful holding of the Days of Russian Culture in Kyrgyzstan in 2025 and expressed hope that the Kyrgyz House of Science and Culture in Moscow, which will open in the near future, will contribute to strengthening cultural ties.
Shvydkoy noted that the year 2028, which will be celebrated as the centenary of Chinghiz Aitmatov, represents an important milestone for the peoples of both countries. Additionally, it is also the year of the 200th anniversary of Leo Tolstoy. He proposed to create a joint organizational committee, headed by the deputy prime ministers of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, to jointly celebrate these significant dates.

At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in further cooperation and expressed confidence that joint efforts in the field of culture and humanitarian dialogue would contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
