Kanybek Dosmambetov is no longer the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, as reported in the country's presidential press release.
Previously, before heading the Ministry of Health, Dosmambetov worked as the head of the GKNB department in the Jalal-Abad region. His resignation was prompted by public outcry that occurred on social media. Recently, an audio recording surfaced in which Bakyt Torobaev's nephew discusses with his uncle his concerns about the loss of an asphalt concrete plant, claiming that Kanybek Dosmambetov, who was then the head of the regional department of the state committee for national security, is involved in the "seizure" of the business.
