In 2020, about 800 million soms were allocated for these purposes, and in 2022 this amount reached almost 2.6 billion soms. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that special attention will be paid to the implementation of the National Development Program until 2030. "The main task within this program is to increase the accessibility of physical culture and sports for the population, modernize infrastructure, prepare an Olympic reserve, and develop mass sports, including the opening of sports sections in educational institutions. We also plan to actively support women's sports," he added.

Additionally, the meeting discussed preparations for the XXXIV Summer Olympic Games and the XVIII Summer Paralympic Games, which will be held in Los Angeles. Participants noted that several major international competitions are planned to take place in Kyrgyzstan in 2026, including the Asian Wrestling Championship and the Central Asian Sailing Championship on Lake Issyk-Kul, as well as the World Nomad Games. Furthermore, a number of instructions were given to expedite the launch of the "Kyrgyz Center for Sports Medicine," enhance security at mass events, and accelerate the digitization of sports services. The Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports was suggested to review its activities and improve the training of specialists in new sports.
