Deputy Dastan Bekeshev presented several amendments to the Law "On the Elections of the President and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh," which have been submitted to parliament for discussion.
Among the proposed innovations are monetary rewards for citizens reporting vote-buying, as well as free transportation on election day and awards for activists in the form of certificates and other forms of recognition.
It is important to note that the new amendments do not include fines and sanctions, which some deputies previously discussed with the aim of "increasing voter activity."
