In the KR, the rules for notaries are changing: new regulations for documentation have been introduced
One of the main changes is that all state fees for notarial services must now be paid exclusively through the unified information system of the National Bureau of Medical Statistics (NBMS). This means that paper receipts are no longer needed, as payment information will be automatically recorded in the system.
Additionally, the procedures for remote execution of notarial actions have been clarified. New rules have been introduced to define which documents can be processed online, as well as innovations in the process of issuing notarial orders for the collection of debts, alimony, and unpaid wages.
Particular attention has been paid to the procedure for sending copies of notarial orders to debtors — now the sending must be done no later than the next working day, and documents can be duplicated via email or messaging apps.
Requirements for the licensing periods of certain types of activities have also changed: the review period has now been extended from one year to three.
The new rules will come into effect in ten days.
