Ernisbek Ormokov has been relieved of his duties as the mayor of Manas, as reported by the press service of the country's president.
Recall that Ormokov was appointed to the position of mayor in the summer of 2021, when 29 deputies of the Jalal-Abad city council unanimously supported his candidacy.
In October 2020, he participated in the parliamentary elections from the president Sadyr Japarov's party "Mekenchil".
Ormokov had planned to resign or change his place of work in the fall of 2025. However, the then chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, insisted that he should remain in his position for at least another two years.
