The report indicates that there are 68 museums operating in the Kyrgyz Republic, employing 1,291 people. During the reporting period, 354 exhibits were restored, 2,200 were added, and over 25,200 units underwent the digitization process.
More than 1.2 million people visited the museums.
Additionally, several private properties were transferred to state ownership:
- The house-museum of Alykul Osmonov in Bishkek;
- The museum of Jusuп Abdrakhmanov, located in the Issyk-Kul region;
- The Koshoy-Korgon complex, situated in the At-Bashinsky district of the Naryn region;
- The art gallery of Askar Salymbekov in the Naryn region.
Furthermore, craft centers and four cultural and information centers have been opened based on three museums, providing independent access and training for visitors.
