Export of used catalysts, slag, and residues of precious metals in them banned from Kyrgyzstan
The catalyst, which is a key component of a car's exhaust system, can account for up to 13% of the vehicle's cost. This has led to an increase in cases of theft and illegal removal of catalysts from cars for subsequent resale, which poses a significant risk.
