Border services of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan discussed current issues of cross-border cooperation
On February 15, a working meeting was held in the area of the "Friendship" stele with representatives of the border services of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event aimed to strengthen trust-based relations, ensure a stable environment, and maintain order at the state border.
According to the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting took place at the section where the borders of the three countries intersect. During the discussions, attention was paid to numerous relevant issues concerning cross-border interaction. The participants considered ways to improve communication between border representatives and coordinate actions to prevent incidents at the border.
Procedures for interaction during various activities in the border zone were also discussed, including engineering and spring field activities. Algorithms for operational response and resolution of potential conflict situations were deliberated.
Additionally, the parties addressed issues related to the improvement of the territory around the "Friendship" stele. This includes the organization of access roads and joint initiatives for greening, which will be implemented by each of the countries.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, highlighting the parties' commitment to strengthening borders, developing good-neighborly relations, and maintaining stability in border areas.
