The appointment of Eshimbekov became known through the press service of the office of President Sadyr Japarov. He replaces Bolotbek Borbiev, who left the position of General Consul in Chicago in October 2025.
Previously, Chyngyz Eshimbekov served as the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar from 2019 to 2023.
