At a parliamentary meeting, Deputy Ulukbek Karybek uulu raised a crucial issue regarding the safety of water bodies located in the residential area of "Muras-Ordo" in Bishkek. He noted that it is urgent to address the problem to prevent further tragedies that have already claimed the lives of eight children.

According to the parliamentarian, there are eighteen artificial water bodies around "Muras-Ordo," which pose a constant threat to local residents.

“Eight children have drowned in these water bodies. How many more lives must be lost for this to become a serious lesson? Authorities, including law enforcement, the mayor's office, and the akimat, must take action. Perhaps if we relocate the mayor or akim to 'Muras-Ordo,' the situation will change?” the deputy questioned.

In addition to the threat to children's safety, the water bodies also damage the area's infrastructure. The constant moisture is destroying building foundations and creating an ecological hazard.

In conclusion, the deputy urged government representatives to instruct the mayor of Bishkek to eliminate hazardous facilities and ensure the safety of citizens.
