He noted that some deputies occupy their positions undeservedly.
“Some of them, for example, committee chairs or vice-speakers, have never worked in public service. I cannot assert that they have contributed anything valuable to Kyrgyzstan. Nevertheless, they hold these high positions,” he emphasized, adding that this happens due to informal rules.
Kokulov also pointed out that the parliament has a chance to reconsider its decisions and openly discuss why certain deputies hold high positions.
He urged his colleagues to abandon unofficial laws and strive for a fairer distribution of positions.
