It is worth noting that recently there have been personnel reshuffles in the country's security structures, affecting both the central apparatus and regional administrations.
According to sources in law enforcement agencies, the changes have affected several areas at once.
- Azamat Yusupov has been appointed head of the GKNB department for Osh and the Osh region; previously, he headed the National Agency for Interethnic and Religious Relations.
- Salamat Sartov has become the new head of the department for the Jalal-Abad region, having a long career in national security agencies.
- The GKNB department for the Chui region is now headed by Adil Kerimov, who previously worked as deputy head of the Main Directorate of the GKNB for Bishkek.
- Bakhtiyar Akimbaev has been appointed head of the department for the Batken region; prior to this, he served as the akim of the Tyup district.
- Kubanychbek Kolbaev has become the head of the GKNB department for the Issyk-Kul region, having previously led the GKNB department for the Chui region and was a member of the board of directors of OJSC "Eldik Bank".
- The GKNB department for the Naryn region is now under the leadership of Almaz Temirbaev; information about his previous activities is not available in open sources.
