Sulaymanov was elected during the elections held on November 30 in his electoral district No. 5.
According to current legislation, his seat may be taken by Azizbek Abdullaev, who received 7.35% of the votes from voters.
On November 30, early elections for the Jogorku Kenesh were held in Kyrgyzstan, with 1,584,446 voters participating, which constitutes 36.9% of the total number. A total of 100 polling stations were opened abroad for voting.
These elections were conducted under updated rules considering the gender quota, according to which there must be at least one female deputy in each district.
