As noted by the committee members, Talantbek Soltobaev has already established himself as an experienced specialist who has worked for a long time in the Ministry of Transport.
As a result, the elected representatives decided not to ask him any questions and unanimously supported his appointment to the new position.
Since 2021, Soltobaev has served as the acting Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications. In September 2025, he became the subject of detention by the State National Security Committee (GKNB) as part of an investigation into the repair of Sheraliyev Street in Naryn.
It is worth noting that the previous Minister of Transport, Absattar Syrgabaev, was relieved of his duties on February 16.
