The head of the president's press service, Daiyrbek Orunbekov, stated that a campaign is underway against Kamchybek Tashiev aimed at discrediting him through fake profiles on social media.
He noted: "We are noticing the activity of fake accounts that are aimed at tarnishing the name of General Kamchybek Tashiev and his entourage. This is viewed as a provocation, the goal of which is to artificially escalate the situation."
According to Orunbekov, the relevant authorities are already conducting an investigation, and if those responsible are identified, they will be punished.
